Corlears School

Corlears School hosts a toddler family meet-up and opportunity to connect with fellow parents/guardians experiencing the joys (and occasional challenges!) of raising children ages 1–3.

The circle will be facilitated by Colleen Goddard, Ph.D, who serves as the Early Childhood Division Director at Corlears School in addition to her role as an adjunct professor at Brooklyn College.

In an informal but nurturing setting, families will have the opportunity to share with one another and ask Colleen questions about the early childhood years.

As the conversation unfolds, Colleen can share about any number of topics related to early childhood, including:
-How toddlers learn about the world around and within them
-Play as a form of expression and understanding
-The importance of meaningful relationships rooted in trust and reciprocity
-Methods for supporting socialization
-Cognitive development and meeting milestones
... and more.
