Holi at Lincoln Center
Celebrate the spring festival of color with dance, music, Holi face painting and yummy treats presented by Ajna Dance Company and Lincoln Center. The fun and festive family celebration includes an explanation of the significance of Holi, an interactive live music program by Raga Kids with violinists Trina Basu and Arun Ramamurthy, and a dance performance and workshop with Ajna Dance Company, accompanied by Amrit on the dhol (drum from Punjab).
Face painters decorate the audience with special Holi-inspired designs, and each attendee goes home with a pack of color so you can celebrate Holi with your friends and family! You can also purchase delicious treats, including Malai Ice Cream and sweets (Mithai) from Tagmo.
Seating and entry are first-come, first-served; the line forms at the Atrium’s entrance on Broadway, between 62nd and 63rd Street.
