The Brooklyn Children's Museum combines its usual costumed festivities with its first anime/manga-themed event. Trick-or-treat around the museum, meet creepy crawlies from BCM's living collection, and dive into the world of anime at the inaugural Kawaii Kreature Festival on BCM's rooftop.

Snap photos with professional cosplayers, show off your get-up at a kids' costume contest, participate in Japanese-inspired art workshops, and enjoy a free screening of Okko's Inn.

Halloween sessions take place from 10am – 12:30pm, 1pm – 3:30pm, and 4pm – 6:30pm. Due to this event's popularity, visitors are encouraged to attend only one session so that there is ample space for all.
