The Riverside goats are making a pitstop on the way to their summer home. Charlise, Chico, Godiva, Paris, Romeo, Turbo, and Mallomar are guests of honor at a "ribbon chewing" ceremony.

This opening celebration features live music by​ Shinbone Alley Stilt Band, new limited-edition Goatham shirts for sale, giveaway collectible goat bandanas, and educational activities. It is held at west 151st Street on the lawn just north of Ten Mile Playground.
