Emanu-El Downtown hosts an al fresco Shavuot arts celebration. Engage all the senses while creating floral crowns with designer Joshua Werber, perform dairy experiments with the Gefilteria, jam together in a drum circle, choreograph a modern dance parade, play games, indulge in ice cream, and more.

Emanu-El Downtown

Emanu-El Downtown offers educational programs, special events, drop-in classes, and holiday celebrations for families with young children. Recent activities have included a Purim Circus, a First Fruits Festival, a Chanukah celebration, a Rosh Hashanah Festival, Shabbat dinners, Hebrew music classes, Shabbat classes, and so much more. All programs are held at 15 West 16th St. between Fifth and Sixth Avenues in Chelsea. Downtown events and classes are open to Temple Emanu-El members and non-members.   read more
