Meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens while supporting local animal shelters and rescue groups at BARKtoberfest. The event features a pet costume contest, vendor booths, food trucks, and more.

The event is held at the Berson Family Center at the Essex County Turtle Back Zoo.

Pets are welcome at BARKtoberfest. Enter the pet costume contest at any time during the event. Voting takes place online after the event.
