 Remember Coco?  The much-lauded Dia de los Muertos themed animated feature returns from the Land of the Dead for a special engagement at the El Capitan.

In Coco,  Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician, despite his family’s baffling generations‐old ban on music. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector, and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history. Prior to every screening, kids can dance in their seats and sing along to music videos featuring Disney Junior’s Vampirina and The Ghoul Girls.

On select days, the Grammy winning Mariachi Divas appear live on stage with Ballet Folklorico de Los Angeles as guests enter the theatre. (Event dates: Sept 27- 30, Oct 6 -7).  Opening night is introduced by Anthony Gonzalez, the voice of Miguel.

Coco is rated PG and has a run time of 1  hrs and 46 min.

Daily showtimes are 10am, 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm. Opening day (Sept 27) the only screening is at 7pm

Tiny Tot screenings  are at 10am on the Tuesdays of the run.

Parking rates at the Hollywood & Highland Center are $2 for up to four hours with validation from El Capitan Theatre.
