LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes celebrates Cinco de Mayo with a fun, free family day.
Did you know Cinco de Mayo is a celebration created by Latinos in California? Plaza visitors can discover the history of this holiday in Los Angeles. The program includes a performance of a presentation of “Cinco de Mayo, La Verdad” by Dr. David Hayes-Bautista in collaboration with Ballet Folklorico Flor de Mayo and Conjunto Tenocelomeh.
Guests can enjoy live music, dance, and culinary, garden, & art workshops. Food is available for sale.
