A new "window to the waterfront" opens in Wilmington with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Wilmington Waterfront Promenade is public park and recreation area, providing unprecedented access to the water’s edge for the Wilmington community.

Stick around: the new public space gets put to good use starting at 3pm, as the Port of Los Angeles holds its annual Lunar New Year Festival celebrating Year of the Dragon.

The new Wilmington Waterfront Promenade is located at 301 S. Avalon Blvd. in Wilmington, adjacent to Banning’s Landing Community Center, at Berths 183-186
