The Wilde Girls (PG)
- see all dates
If clueless was a survival skill, they'd be queens of the forest...
The Wilde Girls is an offbeat, coming-of-age comedy about two spoiled New York teen heiresses who lose everything in the Great Depression - and are exiled to the pre-electrified wilderness of the Pacific Northwest, where couture and civilization are far behind.
About the film: when spoiled New York heiresses Mattie and Tinsley Wilde are cast out into the untamed forests of the Pacific Northwest during the Great Depression - with a bounty on their heads - they must learn to survive with nothing but a reclusive mountain man’s begrudging help. This sharp-witted wilderness comedy blends historical grit with heart and humor, as two clueless socialites stumble their way toward unexpected growth, redemption, and a very different kind of riches.
The Wilde Girls screens at Laemmle Noho 7, with showtimes at 1:10pm, 4pm and 7pm daily. The film is rated PG for mild thematic elements and is recommended for ages 10 and up.
