Music and arts festival Tarfest celebrates local artists, musicians, and culture. The event also features special DJ sets, activities for kids, art installations, food trucks, and an artisan marketplace.

The free festival features performances by Mariachi Quinto Sol, KCRW DJ Novena Carmel, reggae and afrobeat party BOOMYARD featuring  DJ Mysta Crooks, Kaylan Arnold, and  BLVK H3RO.

 

Kids can engage in free art-making and cultural activities with local museums and partners from 2pm - 6pm.

Tarfest is open to all ages and is free to the public,
