UPDATE: Due to the Central Library and Downtown closures, June Jubilee will be postponed until a later date. 

The Central Library's second annual June Jubilee event celebrates the rich Black culture in Los Angeles. The full day of activities includes speakers, informative workshops, live entertainment and fun interactive activities for the whole family.

The day's activities include art workshops making Juneteenth pinwheels, necklaces and heart tree craft kits, Afrofuturist ancestor masks & fan making, button making, documentry screenings, and a vegan sushi workshop.

The library calendar has a listing of related activities happening during the day.

This event is free and open to all.
