Pirate Invasion Festival

Hundreds of costumed pirates (and three pirate ships) descend on Harry Bridges Memorial Park, accompanied by a colony of mermaids, for two days of all things pirate.
The piratical fun includes sword fights, cannon and musket battles, a treasure hunt, costume contest, an interactive kid's zone, arts and craft vendors, live and dj entertainment, food and grog, a living history encampment, and appearances by several "merfolk."
The event is free for the youngest kiddos under 5 years old. Tickets for 6-12 year olds are $5 pre-sale online and $10 at the gate.
