West Valley Regional Branch Library hosts its Monthly Science series with PS Science.
Kids can learn about different science concepts and get our hands on experiments and crafts.
- April 17: observe and learn the structures and functions of flowers and fruits; participants make their own flower model.
- May 15: learn about the traits and behavior of insects, birds, squirrels, and other wildlife in our community and make “binoculars” for viewing wildlife.
- June 5: discover how the La Brea Tar Pits were formed, the way that fossils are excavated and studied, then make a mini-tar pit diorama.
