54th Annual LA Pride Parade & Block Party
Oh my! The Icon Grand Marshall for the LA Pride Parade is the legendary George Takei.
The LA Pride Parade follows a 1-mile route through Hollywood, with about 150 contingents from LGBTQ+ nonprofits, employee resource groups, city agencies, local, regional, and national businesses, clubs, bands, floats, and more than a few surprises.
Additional Grand Marshalls are professional wrestler Cassandro, El Exótico as the Legacy Grand Marshal, for his everlasting impact on his industry and community; and Los Angeles Fire Department Chief, Kristin Crowley, as the Community Grand Marshal, the first woman, and first out person to ever hold the LAFD’s highest position.
The parade steps off at 11am. The route begins at Sunset Blvd and Highland Ave heading north, then east onto Hollywood Blvd, then south onto Cahuenga Blvd, ending at Sunset Blvd and Cahuenga Blvd.
The LA Pride Block Party is a day-long street fair adjacent to the parade. Families can be entertained with live performances by DJs and Drag Queens, a pickleball activation, photo ops, vendor and community booths, food and drinks, and more. Block Party hours 11am to 8pm
