Protect Our Park Workshop at Planting Fields
Celebrate Earth Day with Planting Fields during a science and conservation-based workshop, participants will learn firsthand what it means to be a good steward to nature.
Attendees will get to use their green thumbs to help refresh the various gardens at the Education Center while learning sustainability principles and also engage in a recycling-inspired art project. Each participant will take home their very own plant to care for and be encouraged to take action and be environmental advocates in their own hometowns.
- Session One: For ages 4 – 7, April 22, 10am – 12pm
- Session Two: For ages 8 – 12, April 22, 2 – 4pm
Notes: This is a drop-off program. Guardians are encouraged to stay on-site during the duration of the program and explore the beautiful grounds. If your child requires accommodations, if you have any questions or are interested in group rates, contact erenwick@plantingfields.org. This is a non-refundable program. There is a 48-hour cancellation policy: Should you need to cancel; you will be credited the amount towards a future education workshop. Registration is required; Min: 5 participants, Max: 25 participants.
