Cap off your summer during the sweetest harvest on Long Island at Harbes Family Farm. There is plenty of watermelon to snack on and lots of fun, too.

Don’t miss the watermelon eating contests in the Barnyard Adventure at 2:30pm and 4:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. First come, first served. Participation limited. Must purchase Barnyard admission to participate.

While you’re there, visit Harbes Barnyard Adventure for hours of family fun. The Barnyard includes a hayride tour of the 100-acre farm, pig races, and more. There are also farm animals, jumbo jumpers bounce pillows, a sports zone with baseball, football, and basketball tossing games, Lil’ Farmers PlayLand offers fun for preschoolers, including a trike track, and a musical, animatronic chicken show.
