Walk on the beach towards Democrat Point alongside Fire Island Inlet and look for seals and winter birds calling Long Island home this winter during this first day hike. The hike will be on sand for approximately 2-4 miles long. Be prepared to hike 2-4 miles on sand. Bring drinking water. Wear proper clothing and footwear for a walk alongside the water. Meet at Field 2.
