Families can head to Manorhaven Beach Park in Port Washington for a fun and informative hour about bicycle safety. Councilwoman Mariann Dalimonte from the Town of North Hempstead, along with the Port Washington Police Department, Bicycle Playground and Director of Children's Services Rachel Fox from the Port Washington Public Library will be on hand. NOTE: All attendees will have the opportunity to have their bicycle and helmet checked. Children of all ages are invited. Participants must bring a bike and helmet to the event. No registration is required.
