AdvoKids at LICM: International Day of Person’s with a Disability
Sat Dec 6, 2025
11:00am to 1:00pm ET
Age: 4+
Price: Free with museum admission ($18 per person)
Location:
Long Island Children's Museum
In December, the Long Island Children's Museum's AdvoKids program focuses on International Day of Person’s with a Disability, introducing visitors to the actions of disability rights advocate Nyle Di Marco and the importance of being inclusive. Museum patrons will then decorate the ASL sign for love.
About the monthly program: AdvoKids is a monthly series focusing on children learning what it means to be an advocate for themselves and others. Adults will learn how they can support their child’s self-advocacy efforts, which promote confidence, resilience, and empathy.
