Celebrate Black History Month by learning about the 2025 theme, African Americans and Labor, with a focus on civil rights leader A. Philip Randolph. Randolph was the leader of the groundbreaking Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters Union. Visitors can then create the well-known symbol of the union, a car porters' hat.
AdvoKids is a monthly series focusing on children learning what it means to be an advocate for themselves and others. Adults will learn how they can support their child’s self-advocacy efforts, which promote confidence, resilience, and empathy.
