The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival or Zhongqiu Festival, is a popular harvest festival celebrated in China for over 3,000 years. 

The festival celebrates the full harvest moon and is a time to give thanks for a bountiful harvest, and to celebrate and share the generous bounty with family

See Chinese cultural demonstrations alongside hot local bands mark a celebration uniquely Angeleno and uniquely Chinatown. Come for the annual Moon Festival Ritual with Mooncake demo and sampling, or to take a peek at the full moon in her glory through telescopes!
