The annual Rustic Canyon Halloween and Day of the Dead Festival of Fright promises a community party full of treats, games, and a moonbounce. The Haunted House is open from 5pm-8pm. Food trucks offer refreshments available for purchase.

The costume contest is held at 5pm with two age divisions: ages 0- 6 years and 7 - 12 years. Categories include scariest, funniest, cutest, and most original.  A costume contest for dogs is held afterwards.

Note that although the address is Santa Monica, this park is actually in LA, in the canyon by Pacific Palisades.
