Nov. 14: Wheels & Reels revs up the festivities from 5 to 8 pm.

  • This unique mixer will celebrate that evening’s premiere of the feature film Ford v Ferrari, starring Matt Damon and Christian Bale, at the district’s just debuted Star Cinema Grill.
  • Vintage and modern Ford and Ferrari cars will be on display along City Plaza Drive, curated in part by Mustang Club of Houston and Northside Mustang Car Club.
  • A cash bar will be available on the adjacent central plaza with a nod to both domestic and Italian beer and wines.

Nov. 15: Ring in the holidays at CityPlace with a magical night of musical performances.

  • H-Town Award Country Artist of the Year nominee, The Broken Spokes kick off the evening at 6 pm with a lively brand of country in the vein of Johnny Cash and Hank Thompson.
  • At 8 pm, second act headliner Bri Bagwell and the Banned showcases Bri Bagwell, a fast-rising performer on the Texas country scene. Open lawn seating - blankets and chairs welcome.
  • A cash bar will be located on the central green, and bites to go will be available from adjacent SwitcHouse Plates and Pours.

Nov. 16: Get a headstart on holiday shopping and choose from seasonal décor items with the CityPlace Holiday Art Market and District Lighting from 3 to 10 pm.

  • ART IS AN Outdoor Market hosts the event featuring dozens of vendors spanning from vintage clothing and jewelry dealers to painters of all mediums plus sculptors, woodworkers, print makers, quilters, candle makers, sewistas, paper makers, welders and more.
  • Enjoy live music from Adrian Michael and be a part of the fun as Santa’s elves and emcee DJ Andrew light up the district as the sun sets.
  • Cash bar located on the plaza, and bites to go available at adjacent SwitcHouse Plates & Pours.
  • A sampling of vendors include Maria Victoria, Hive Bee Farm, Guerra Girl, Natural, Lamsri Bohemian, Solo Nut Jewelry, Wholly Suds, Luca Love, Caroline Brock Photos & Paper Art and Shosho’s Kitchen.
