Creepy Crawlers at Armand Bayou Nature Center
The annual Creepy Crawlers, your favorite non-scary Halloween alternative event, is back! Experience the mystery of hiking at night in a small group with others or as a private adventure.
Start with an independent stroll along the boardwalk to the Environmental Learning Center where you will meet some bayou creatures and hear about how they live. You will then set off for a short hike to the prairie to do some spider sniffing, hear the coyotes howl, explore the rotten log hotel, call bats, and say hello to friendly farmhouse ghost!
12 hike slots available
Staggered hikes heading out every 10 minutes. Expect to be walking and sitting intermittently for approximately 1.5 hours
Know before you go:
The maximum capacity for a hike is 15 people.
It is recommended that you bring water and insect repellent.
If you have red lights, feel free to bring them with you.
Reservations are required.
Please feel free to wear costumes, but keep these safety guidelines in mind:
For your safety, closed-toe shoes are required. Participants without proper footwear will not be able to participate.
Costumes must not pose a trip hazard.
Face masks are permitted as long as they don't obscure your vision.
