Dino Trolley at Connecticut Trolley Museum
- see all dates
Families are invited to step back in time—like wayyy back—at the popular Dino-Trolley event. Designed for young dinosaur enthusiasts, this event blends the excitement of trolley rides with a prehistoric twist, offering a day full of imagination, learning, and hands-on activities.
One of the main attractions is the Dino Hunt Safari Trolley Ride, where guests will board a vintage trolley and ride through the museum’s wooded railway. Along the way, life-sized dinosaur figures will be stationed throughout the trees. The trolley will slow down to give passengers a chance to spot them while enjoying a fun, narrated tour by the trolley crew.
Please note, these dinosaur figures are static and do not move. In addition to the trolley adventure, families can dig into the Fossil Dig Station, where young paleontologists can unearth hidden “fossils.” Inside the Visitor Center, children can participate in an I-Spy Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt for prizes, and get creative at the Dino Craft Station to make and take home a dinosaur-themed trolley craft.
