Acorn Adventure: Tricky Tracking in Mansfield
Have you ever wondered what animals roam your backyard? If you know how to look, they leave all kinds of signs. Learn how to identify different tracks and track patterns of animals living in The Last Green Valley and maybe in your own backyard.
TLGV Volunteer Rangers and master outdoor educators Tom and Sue Harrington will lead this program with TLGV Rangers Emma and Cassidy at Joshua’s Trust’s historic Atwood Farm. Participants will make tracks in sand, learn how to spot differences and patterns in the tracks, and then they'll hit the trails to see who has left signs for us on this amazing Joshua’s Trust property.
Kids will also get a tracking card to take home. Acorn Adventures are always free and open to the public thanks to the generous sponsorship of Centreville Bank.
