Ice skating, train rides, twinkle lights, oh my! ‘Tis the season for holiday fun, and one of Dallas’ most beloved hotels knows how to celebrate. Christmas at the Anatole has returned for 2025, and whether you’re a guest or want to enjoy the holiday activities, there’s room for you and your whole crew. I took my kids to the opening weekend, and we had a blast. Here's how to make the most of your visit to this holiday tradition in the Design District.

How to Make the Most of Your Visit to Christmas at the Anatole

When you first arrive at the Hilton Anatole, you'll be drawn in by the covered ice skating rink. It's right in front, and alongside it are picnic tables, a swing, holiday decor, and cozy winter chalets you can book at an extra cost. There's a drink hut serving all sorts of goodies like hot chocolate and specialty cocktails, and a place to buy snacks like brisket chowder and warm cinnamon buns. Once you've had your fill at the rink, head indoors through the twinkle light tunnel into the hotel, where a winter wonderland invites kids to enjoy bounce houses, unlimited train rides, a cozy movie room, and over-the-top holiday decor perfect for holiday photos.

You don't have to be a guest to enjoy the festivities at the Anatole! $20 gets each person one hour of ice skating, access to the winter wonderland, Santa's Workshop Craft Station, and Mrs. Claus's library. My kids are tweens and teens and had a ton of fun both on the rink and indoors.

Christmas at the Anatole is open from 11am - 9pm each night. We arrived at 6:30pm, and it was perfect timing: all the lights around the hotel were sparkling, it was cold enough that the hot chocolate hit the spot, and we even spotted Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer! If you have little kids, arriving earlier in the day is your best bet. That's when Santa's Craft Station and Mrs. Claus's library are open.
