Families can learn about the flora and fauna of the woods around the Chicago Botanic Garden before heading out on a self-guided nature walk. Start or finish with a warm-up by the fire at the McDonald Woods shelter.

The program will be cancelled if the weather is bitterly cold or winds are more than 20 mph.
