Lilac Time
The Village of Lombard celebrates spring and the blooming of the 700 lilacs and 25,000 tulips in Lilacia Park with this annual festival. The festival includes concerts, an arts and crafts fair, botanical tours, a 5K, a parade, and a father-daughter dance. Entry to the park is always free, but some events charge admission.

April 29, 6:30 p.m.: Little Lady Lilac Ball at the Lombard Community Building
May 1, 1p.m.: Lilac Queen Coronation at Lilacia Park
May 1, 2:30 p.m.: Concert with Dancing Queen at Lilacia Park
May 3, 9:30 a.m.: Story time at Helen Plum Library
May 7, 2p.m.: Kids' Day in Lilacia Park with Istvan and His Imaginary Band
May 8, 2 p.m.: Mother's Day Concert with Rosie and the Rivets
May 10, 9:30 a.m.: Story time at Helen Plum Library
May 12, 9:30 a.m.: Story time at Helen Plum Library
May 14, 8 a.m.: Lilac Mutt Strut 5K and 1 Mile Puppy Path
May 14, 8:30 a.m.: Pancake Breakfast
May 15, 1:30 p.m.: Lilac Day Parade starting at Glenbard East High School
