Bike the Drive

Bike the drive is a five hour event where no cars are allowed on Lake Shore Drive so that bikers of all ages and skill levels can ride their bikes and enjoy breathtaking views of the city and the lake!
The event begins at 6:30 AM , but participants can join throughout the morning. The host recommends starting at 7:00 a.m. for riders to get the most out of their time on the Drive.
Registered participants with rider numbers can safely start the ride at:
Columbus Drive and Jackson Drive Starting Line
Bryn Mawr Rest Stop
Museum of Science & Industry Rest Stop
Fullerton Check Point
Oakwood Check Point
Participants can make their ride as short or long as they like by using turnarounds located along the route.
The event will end and the route will be closed by 11:30am.
Kids 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
