Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS) hosts multiple events in honor of Independence Day offering many opportunities to see incredible fireworks and fun festivities. The events commemorating Independence Day take place Friday, June 28 through Thursday, July 4.

No alcoholic beverages or personal fireworks (including sparklers) are allowed.

Star Spangled Sterling - Friday, June 28 (Sterling Middle School)

  • 5:30-10pm
  • 9:20pm Fireworks
  • Enjoy entertainment, a live DJ, food trucks for purchase, and outdoor family games.

What a Blast! - Saturday, June 29 (Hal & Berni Hanson Regional Park )

  • 6-10pm
  • 9:30pm Fireworks
  • Enjoy music, games, a kids zone, food trucks for purchase, and a beer garden.

Independence Day Celebration - Wednesday, July 3 (Lovettsville Community Park & Center)

  • 5:30pm Parade through Town
  • 6:30pm Celebrate at the Park - Carnival Games, DJ & Balloon Artist
  • 6:30-8:30pm Pool Bash - $5 Per Person Admission
  • 9:30pm Fireworks at the Park

Independence Day at Franklin Park - Thursday, July 4 (Franklin Regional Park)

  • 5-10pm
  • 9:30pm  Fireworks
  • Enjoy live music from Loudoun Symphonic Winds and many other festivities, such as a photo booth, face painting, glitter tattoos, balloon twisting, and food for purchase.

Fourth Fest! - Thursday, July 4 (Claude Moore Park)

  • 10:30am-3pm
  • Celebrate with live music, crafts, nature exhibits, carnival games, attractions, and more.
     

Red, White & Run 5K - Thursday, July 4 (Hal & Berni Hanson Regional Park)
