At the Kids Fishing Derby, kids and their families can learn about fishing and experience a relaxing and successful day catching fish. All kids MUST be accompanied by an adult. Limited fishing poles and bait are available for use.

Trout Unlimited is on hand to help clean and store the catch. Volunteers can teach kids how to bait, cast, hook, and cook the freshly caught dinner. Please wear shoes that can get wet or muddy; no sandals. Teens and adults ages 16 and up MUST have a valid Virginia State Fishing License to fish. Adults are not permitted to fish during kids' fishing time.

Parking Information: Park at Hunter's Creek Clubhouse, 417 Queens Row Street, and follow the signs.
