Families can discover the role of the American-French alliance in the American Revolution. Visitors meet Rochambeau, Commander of French Forces in the American Revolution, and learn about other American and French individuals who fostered alliances that helped to forge a nation. There are also opportunities to create a sash and pick up take-home activities, listen to music of the Revolution, and read Revolutionary Friends: General George Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette with Mount Vernon staff.
