Once a month, join the San Francisco Astronomers (SFAA) for a Star Party at the Presidio's Main Parade Lawn. With telescopes, members will be available to teach you how to view the moon, Venus, Jupiter, Mars, and the constellations, including Orion and Cassiopeia.
Make sure to dress warmly, as the Predisio can get chilly in the evenings. Rain or clouds will cancel the event, so check the website before heading to the park! This event is free and open to the public.
