Join experienced instructors on a 3-mile round trip hike to learn about California newts as they go to winter egg-laying pools deep in the heart of the Briones Regional Park.

Along the way, observe other wildlife in their natural habitats as you traverse the dewey morning landscape.

Bring rain jacket, warm layers, water, and rain boots or waterproof shoes. Hiking poles are recommended.
