Illustoria is a beloved San Francisco-based creativity magazine for kids. To celebrate its eighth birthday, Illustoria is partnering with SF Botanical Gardens, Green Apple Books, and SF Public Library! Join them for a day celebrating art and children’s literature.
Illustoria will lead two family-friendly art activities. SF Public Library will offer an exciting book giveaway, and local bookstore Green Apple Books will host a table of fabulous children’s books for purchase. This is an all-ages, family-friendly event.
Illustoria is an art and storytelling print magazine for all ages, suitable for readers as young as six years. Packed with stories, comics, DIY projects, and interviews orbiting a central theme—this magazine aims to ignite curiosity and a creative response.
They are published by McSweeney’s Literary Art Fund, based in the Mission District.
The New York Times & Wall Street Journal consider Illustoria the coolest mag for young artists!
