Celebrate the start of the holiday season with the 36th Annual Building Lighting Ceremony at the Embarcadero Center. Not just any ordinary tree lighting event, there is also a carnival featuring carnival games, face painting, appearances from Santa Claus and his elves, Frozen the Musical photo opportunities, and a light show. 

The fun begins at 4 p.m., with the finale being the lighting ceremony with 17,000 lights that outline Embarcadero Center. This event is free and open to the public.
