Join the USS Hornet to celebrate the anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing and especially the recovery of the astronauts from the Pacific Ocean by the USS Hornet in 1969. 

Families can enjoy NASA (with a large 3 table interactive set up), East Bay Astronomical Society (with Sun Telescopes), Travelling Space Exhibit (Lots of space exploration related artifacts and models), Model Rocket Collection (Joe Martinez, Hornet Volunteer has 2 large tables worth of model rockets), Star Wars Costume Clubs (Rebel Legion Endor Base, 501st Legion/Golden Gate Garrison, Wolves of Mandalore), and more.
