Little Moon + Arrow hosts this geography class geared towards children 5-7 years old. The class began when Alycia Larson realized that children weren't learning enough about the world in school so she integrated geography into other activities to make it fun.

She discovered that her students responded to maps and pictures of different places and people, especially pictures of other children.

Creating and presenting programs through the Free Library of Philadelphia summer reading programs and as the Language teacher at Moonstone Preschool, Alycia has been able to introduce different cultures and countries to Philadelphians of all ages. Now as the Geography Lady, she can reach even more people who are just as curious.

Alycia teaches an intro class to cultures around the world while providing stories, crafts, snacks, and games from the places she discusses!
