Winter Wander
Families are invited to explore Riverbend during this walk hosted by Habitat and Volunteer Manager, Lorna Atkinson. Guests can expect to see habitat restoration projects and Woodmont, a National Historic Landmark. The excursion takes approximately two hours.
Participants should meet at the Riverbend parking lot at 11:45 am. Weather could impact the event. If there is a cancellation, registrants will be notified via email by 8 pm the night before. The trails are hilly and walkers should dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. Strollers and wheelchairs are not able to be accommodated. Participants should bring their own water/snacks. Both social distancing and mask wearing is required. Space is limited and available on a first-come; first-served basis.
Please keep your family and others safe by always wearing masks and maintaining social distancing measures. If an event appears too crowded, try using the “nearby” search feature on our event calendar to find something else to do.
