Join Pig Iron Theatre Company in a celebration of Philadelphia’s young inventors as engineering students of Science Leadership Academy at Beeber share an exposition of their inventions and the alternate worlds/histories surrounding them. The small-scale World’s Fair style expo takes place April 5 from noon to 4 p.m., featuring booths showcasing inventions and sci-fi narratives. Blending real-world engineering and science with creative lore and clever illusions, these inventions are inspired by science fiction and by Pig Iron’s upcoming “alternative universe adventure play,” Franklin’s Key.

Special musical guests will perform, including Aria Fiorillo at noon and The Paul Green Rock Academy performing a special Talking Heads set at 3 p.m.
