Adventure Aquarium hosts a sensory-inclusive hour aimed at guests with autism and other sensory sensitivities on the third Sunday of every month. The Aquarium lowers the music, softens the lights, and reduces the crowds to create the most enjoyable experience for guests with sensory needs and their families.

Adventure Aquarium also offers a limited number of sensory bags to rent for any guests who may begin to feel overwhelmed during their visit. Sensory bags can be signed out at the Aquarium’s Info Desk and are equipped with noise-canceling headphones, fidget tools, and verbal cue cards.
