The Orlando Science Center is hosting a party for the solar eclipse, which will be about 60 percent visible in Orlando. The eclipse begins at 11:52 am, peaks at 1:26 pm, and ends at 3:02 pm, allowing viewers an adequate amount of time to see it as it happens with special viewing glasses. This event also includes hands-on activities about the solar eclipse throughout the museum.

*It is NEVER safe to look directly into the sun during a partial eclipse without specialized eye protection. Staff will be on hand to show guests how to correctly use solar eclipse glasses.

Limited tickets are available ONLINE ONLY. Admission is $2 for Orlando Science Center Members. Members must reserve these tickets in advance.
