New Jersey Peach Festival (Mullica Hill, NJ)
Head to the NJ Peach Festival this weekend for some old fashioned country fun. Check out one of the many family friendly activities such as the equestrian demos, craft fair, rabbit and goat shows or even the baby parade. Get your fill of the juicy summer fruit by watching the crowing of the New Jersey Peach Queen (you read that right!) and then stuff yourself silly with all things peach, from the tasty fruit to delicious baked goods. Stick around until dinnertime and enjoy the big barbeque, complete with sweet peach ice cream for dessert. Thursday thru Sunday (events at various times). $10 parking fee per vehicle (good for all 4 days).

QuikCheck Festival of Ballooning (Whitehouse Station, NJ)

In other words, plenty for both kids and adults to see and enjoy! Grossology at Liberty Science Center (Jersey City, NJ)
Liberty Science Center has an educational and quirky exhibit running through the summer – check out Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body and teach the kids all about the things in our body that make us say, “ewww!”  Learn about bodily functions from a giant burp machine, a climbing wall and a walk-in nose. You’ll even have the chance to climb a giant human skin wall covered with warts and hair and play surgeon as you remove organ parts from a body without touching the sides of the patient (like the oldie but goodie board game Operation!) All ages welcome. Runs daily through September 2nd.  Exhibit included with general admission. 201-200-1000

Storybook Celebration (Camden, NJ)
The Storybook Gardens come alive this weekend inside the Camden Children’s Garden. Join the garden staff for readings from classic children’s books before taking part in themed crafts. Then visit the Giant’s Garden (yep, of Jack and the Beanstalk fame) and plant your very own magic beans to take home. As always, you can enjoy the beautiful gardens and take a break at the concession stand. Saturday & Sunday 1-4pm. $6/Person. 856-365-8733

Visitors experience real 'hands on' cockpit understanding as they learn more about how pilots fly and what the controls and instrumentation do. Pilots and guides are on hand to answer any questions. All ages welcome. 10am-4pm. $7/Adult, $5/Children & Seniors. 201-288--6344
