LIC Community Boathouse offers free kayaking and canoeing (weather permitting) at Hallets Cove, located just north of the Park. People of all ages are welcome to participate or volunteer.
No prior boating experience is required and participants may sign up on a first come, first serve basis.
Minors (under 18 yrs.) must have a parent or guardian present. Well-behaved dogs are also welcome to accompany their owners. LICCB has life jackets available for your four-legged family members.
Participants are encouraged to check here two hours prior to a scheduled paddle for updates and cancellations, especially during inclement weather.
