Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream Opening Weekend
- see all dates
The Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, the newest cultural hub in the heart of Washington D.C., announces its public opening and celebration taking place Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21. The center invites visitors to explore its flagship cutting-edge exhibition, the American Dream Experience, and take part in The Opening Celebration Festival, an interactive, two-day event featuring family-friendly activities, surprise pop-ups, and free holodeck tickets.
The Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream is a cultural institution dedicated to illuminating pathways to opportunity based on the ideal that no matter who you are or where you come from, you should have the chance to pursue your dreams. Through exhibitions, convenings, and research, the Center explores bold ideas and celebrates the American Dream across history.
The Center champions this ideal through four key areas: health, entrepreneurship, education, and finance. Through exhibitions, convenings, and research, the Center invites people to explore bold ideas and celebrate all who built upon the American Dream across history.
Located in the beautifully restored historic buildings at the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and 15th Street in Washington, DC, we are part of the Milken Institute, a nonprofit think tank focused on accelerating measurable progress on the path to a meaningful life.
