Open House at the Museum of Arts and Design
The Museum of Arts and Design welcomes makers of all ages for a day of free admission and exhibition-inspired creative projects to spark your inner artist! Cool off with a movie in The Theater at MAD, explore the exhibitions, and create a work of art with MAD’s artist educators or visit the creative play station hosted by Brooklyn-based toy company Clixo.

11:30am–12:30pm A meditation session in Saya Woolfalk: Empathic Universe led by Jeanne Lauren Smith of As You are Mindfulness (floor 5)
12pm The Princess Bride (PG) in The Theater at MAD (Theater level)
12:30pm Tour The Mad MAD World of Jonathan Adler with MAD's Artslife teen interns (floor 3)
1–4pm Art-making for all ages inspired by exhibitions on view: mask-making, nature prints, paper pots, plus the Clixo play station (floor 7)
1–4pm Learn about MAD's rooftop beehives and delicious MAD honey (floor 6)
3pm Summer of Soul (...Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised) (PG-13) in The Theater at MAD (Theater level)
