Come to Hartford Public Libraries (Main, Albany and Barbour Branches) to commemorate Juneteenth.

  • June 18, 3 - 4p Make a craft to celebrate Juneteenth.
  • June 19, 2 - 3p Ages 0-12. Celebrate Juneteenth through a creative finger-painting activity.
  • June 19, 1 - 2p All ages. Swing by the Barbour Library for a Juneteenth bash. Get crafty, sport some snazzy temporary tattoos, hear a story, sip on Freedom Fizz from Alliah L. Agostini and Taffy Elrod’s "The Juneteenth Cookbook," and enjoy a puppet show.
