Florida's beaches and water attractions draw in families from far and wide, but the state's unfortunate distinction as #1 in the country for drowning among children under 9 casts a shadow over the excitement. To address this pressing issue head-on, Cox Media Group Miami, Children's Service Council of Broward County, and Florida Department of Health Broward Counrty are proud to present a FREE Water Safety Awareness Day.

This event promises an educational and entertaining experience for all attendees. The event features water safety tips and demonstrations, CPR courses, lifeguard demonstrations, Embrace Girls Foundation Fun Zone, chance to meet Spiderman and the Little Mermaid, live music, food trucks, and more.

The park's weekend gate entrance fee of $3/vehicle (for 8 or fewer passengers) will be in effect, but the first 100 cars to arrive will enjoy free gate admission on a first-come, first-served basis.
